The car dealership was across the street so I impulsively drove through the lot on my way home to just 'see what they had'. Next thing I knew, I was test driving a new car. The smooth ride, the new car smell, the barely driven 16 miles, the leather seats, the shiny exterior, the fancy dashboard....I fell in love. We got a great deal on it. I turn into another person when I'm buying a car - I don't know who she is or where she comes from, but she gets the job done and gets what she wants!
We got a 2011 Mazda CX-7 Touring. I still need to go refrigerator shopping though :)

Oh, it is beautiful! I do love new cars, too!
Wow that is one heckuva impulse buy! So perty!
Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever gone shopping for appliances only to come back with something infinitely cooler! That’s a really pretty car! And yeah, I think the new car smell is enough to draw me in. Hehe! Do you name your cars? If you do, what name did you give to this one?
Hmmm, that car might not be able to keep your food cool, but it definitely pulls up YOUR cool factor! It’s kind of funny how you ended up with a new car than with a refrigerator. It sounds like the car hasn’t gone much further than a few test drives, so I’m sure it was driving smoothly when you got it. I hope the car hasn’t needed any repairs yet since you bought it.
That is hilarious! How does one go out for a new fridge only to come back with a new car instead? Hahaha! That’s pretty awesome! And hey, I don’t blame you for “turning into someone else” when it comes to cars. Buying a vehicle is, as the kids say these days, “serious business.” There are a lot of things that need to be considered, so buying a car should definitely not be taken or done lightly.
