In a desperate attempt to get my sweet little Preston to stop crying and to go to sleep, I plopped him down on the bed, tightly wrapped a blanket around his wiggly arms, propped pillows around him so he wouldn't fall over, stuffed a pacifier in his mouth (he hates them!) and turned the radio on and started signing loudly - and badly! - while I folded laundry. He immediately quieted down and while sucking on the pacifier, fell asleep. I know this was wrong of me, but it worked and I may be onto something. Bad mommy!!!

Your not a bad mommy you have figured out what to do so that you can get something done. :) He looks so comfortable.
I'm sorry but that is bad how? He wasn't in any danger and you got something done...score! Another thing that worked for me was the shower...Kyler always fell asleep to the water flowing. You are doing a great job!
Hey if it works - it works!!! Nothing wrong with that. Charlotte is a very active baby who never ever ever sleeps. It's hard to keep her entertained at times. Plus you never get a free moment to yourself or to get chores done. She screamed on the way to the airport the other day so I drove with my arm stretched into the backseat, over her carrier and let her chew on my fingers. You gotta do whacha gotta do! She loves the story moo, baa, llama so when she's fussy I recite that to her and she immediately calms down. Also just got an ergo carrier so I can walk around the house with her and still have 2 arms free. My back was beginning to sprout muscles that I never knew existed. Hang in there. It slowly gets better. Just last week C learned to roll over, make the highest pitched squeal you've ever heard, and bounce in her jumper we bought for Christmas. Got your cards - thank you!!! Ross wanted me to tell you that your handwriting is the best he has ever seen!!!! Happy holidays mama!!!
Sometimes there's only so much you can do! :) My kiddo used to fall asleep to white noise, so we'd play the static on the radio really loud each night.
